Small, yet chunky, the diamond pinky ring has a tapered dome profile with 7 flush set lab grown diamonds. Formed slowly from wax before casting in solid 9ct yellow gold.
Dimensions: Width 6mm tapered to 3mm. Each ring is hand made to order. Slight variations may occur, dimensions are approximate.

At Metal and Dust a combination of Lab grown and naturally sourced gemstones and diamonds are used in our designs. Mined diamonds are formed under ground over billions of years and lab grown diamonds are made in just a few weeks.
Chemically and physically lab grown diamonds are identical to mined diamonds. Grown above ground, lab grown diamonds minimise some of the environmental impact associated with mining diamonds and for this reason are considered favourable in jewellery design. It’s important to note, that while they may not be mined from the earth, they do still require plenty of energy to be made through forming under high pressure, cutting and grading before being ready to set in a jewellery piece.
Metal and Dust diamonds are selected with the following specifications:
Colour: DEF or above
Cut: Very Good/ Excellent and above
Clarity: VS2 and above
Fluorescence: None
Metal and Dust orders are individually made to order. Please allow up to 12 weeks for your order to be completed. If you require your order by a specific date, please get in touch to discuss your timeline.

After an initial studio appointment or discussion via email, a quote will be provided for approval. A deposit payment is accepted to confirm your order.
Wax Concept:
A wax concept of your ring/s is made for you to try on. (Allow 3-4 weeks for your wax concept to be made). If you are not able to visit the studio to try on your wax concept, it can be shipped to you.
Follow Up Appointment:
Visit the studio to try on the wax concept for your ring/s and discuss adjustments to size, fit and shape. (Allow up to 6 weeks from the follow up appointment for your ring/s to be completed).
Casting & Finishing:
Adjustments are made to the wax concept before it is cast in your preference of precious metal. Once it is cast, we refine the shape, proportions and sizing to your preferences. Stone setting and polishing are the final steps before your order is ready for shipping or collection.
